We are pleased to announce that ENERGATE

The 1st Regional Workshop of the ENERGATE project “Energy efficiency, from financing to implementation” was held on the 28 September 2023 (18:00 Local time) at Círculo de Bellas Artes, in Madrid. The event was co-organised by ENERGATE Spanish partners COMMUTY and the Urban Land Institute Spain. 

On the vibrant day of September 29th, 2023, the ENERGATE team gathered in the heart of Madrid, Spain, to pave the way forward for sustainable energy solutions and robust platform development. Hosted by COMMUTY at the Edificio TRIPLE, the meeting was a blend of insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and collaborative planning, all aimed at propelling the ENERGATE project to new heights.

The ENERGATE project (Energy Efficiency Aggregation Platform for Sustainable Investments) is an EU-funded initiative aiming to accelerate renovation rates in the EU by facilitating sustainable investments in the building sector. To achieve this, an energy efficiency marketplace will be developed, bringing together a variety of stakeholders. The potential ENERGATE platform users are divided into two pylons:

The ENERGATE project pursues to develop an effective user-friendly web-based energy efficiency marketplace, combining energy services and sustainable finance to accelerate the renovation rate of buildings by increasing the chances for projects to be financed.

This report, the initial and first version of a series of reports for the ENERGATE platform, specifying the user types, user stories, use cases, workflows and user requirements of the platform.

In order to make the smart energy transition a reality, 19 projects came together under the #SmartEnergyCluster to mutually support each other by building on and multiplying all their results.

The Hellenic Operational Research Society and the Department of Civil Engineering of University of West Attica organized the conference which was held in Athens on June 29-30 and July 1, 2023.

Learn more about the EU-funded ENERGATE project which is developing an Energy Efficiency digital marketplace where investors, ESCOs, building owners and building managers can exchange information and agree on tailored funding schemes!

ENERGATE is being developed by a consortium of 13 partners with different roles in the Energy Efficiency value chain. The 1st public version roll-out of the platform will be in March 2024 and the final marketplace is expected to be publicly released in June 2025.

The 1st release of the ENERGATE report on "Dissemination and Communication strategy" outlines the process behind the development of the ENERGATE communication and dissemination strategy and objectives. This deliverable aims to set a strategy to be applied during the overall implementation of the project. One of the main objective, is to define the target audience and the project’s stakeholders and define the communication and dissemination activities to engage them.
